1. DEFINITON
“Designated Medical Service” (DMS) mean emergency centers of (AEA)/ SOS or domestic medical
centers which includes Vietsovpetro Medical Center, Le Loi Hospital, Chợ Rẫy Hospital and other
hospital which belongs health care net of Petro Viet nam. In case of foreign victims, the DMS shall be
AEA/ SOS and in case Vietnamese victim, the DMS shall be domestic medical care Center.

2. POLICY
The priority shall be followed as describing in procedures of Contingency Plan of SCP. PSM has bought
and maintain insurance for personal injury.
These case shall included in emergency services:
1. victim in serious situation
2. Patients who need medical care period over 6 weeks
3. Patients need medical treatments which is not available in country or local province where he is
having treatment.
Or in extremely serious cases because of lack of medical instruments, medicine or medical care if
Medical Insurance do not accept and health situation of victim permits movement.

3. READINESS
This service are ready to labors of PSM over teriority of Vietnam as well as other Asian countries.

4. USE
If DMS is selected, Director/ person authorized by Director shall chose and make contact to DMS. After
reviewing situation of injury as well as location, nationality and support capability of Clients,
Charters ....DMS and PSM will discuss and give decision of which emergency mean is used and which
hospital is used ...
Contact Telephone Numbers of DMS are listed in PSMM/HOCP-02.

Head office must prepare below information and forward to DMS:

1. Detail of patient
 Name
 Address
 Date of birth
 Nationality
2. Health Situation
 Detail of injury , ill ness.
 Current information of injury situation as well as medical care is provided previously.
 If patient has been in medical center and got treatment, the detail of Hospital, name of
doctor, and contact address of them must be provided.
5. CARE RESPONSIBILITY
Providing this service do not mean the replace PSM responsibility of finding and provide better medical
service which is available in local province until the injury has been under treatment in hospital..

6. HOSPITAL, CARE CENTER

PSM shall support DMS in making arrangement and finding Healthcare Center which is closet to Injury
house. And PV Trans shall inform to injury family members for getting care to injury form them. PSM
has right to contact to dear and near of patient to have agreement of determining which hospital is

selected. In case of no next of kin of patient are founded, PSM shall directly determine hospital after
discussion with DMS.

7. AVIATION REGULATION
In case of foreign countries, they must be know more aviation regulation that aviation company refuse to
carry patient who are within 10 days from operation and only the wound has been dry and clean already.
And surgery thread has been with drawal.
