MY PROJECT

SAFETY FEATURES IN VEHICLES

INTRODUCTION :
Safety features are very important from a car owners point of view. Be it a car, a bus or any other form of transport, safety and security are the two main concerns which should be given due importance and care. This is so that the people who travel in the vehicle and the person operating it remains safe in the vehicle and can handle themselves when the time arises.

DISCUSSION >
Common safety features you can find in the cars available today are ->>

Seat Belt

Prevent

the driver and passengers from being flung forward or thrown out of the car during an emergency break. Crumple Zone The crumple zone increases the reaction time of collision during an accident. This causes the impulsive force to be reduced and hence reduces the risk of injuries.

Airbag

The inflated airbag during an accident acts as a cushion to lessen the impact when the driver flings forward hitting the steering wheel or dashboard.
Head Rest

Reduce neck injury when driver and passengers are thrown backwards when the car is banged from backward.

Windscreen

Shatter-proof glass is used so that it will not break into small pieces when broken. This may reduce injuries caused by scattered glass.
Bumper

Made of elastic material so that it can increases the reaction time and hence reduces the impulsive force caused by collision.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

Prevent the wheels from locking when brake applied

suddenly by adjusting the pressure of the brake fluid. This can prevents the car from skidding.

Padded Dashboard

Cover with soft material. This may increases the reaction time and hence reduce the impulsive force when passenger knocking on it in accident.

MY FAVOURITE CAR
(INSPIRA)

INSPIRA SAFETY FEATURES ABS AND EBD SYSTEMS

This feature provides better stability and enhances performance to avoid crashes, especially on slippery roads or during emergencies. It also features a backup EBD function, in the event of ABS failure.
THEFT PREVENTION IMMOBILISER

The immobilizer prevents unauthorised access to help prevent theft and to provide the driver with peace of mind.

CVT WITH INVECS-III

The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is an automatic transmission that is quiet, efficient and allows for smoother gear changes. It eliminates the harshness and power lag of traditional gear changes. *Applicable only to the premium variant.
SPORT MODE WITH PADDLE SHIFT*

The sport mode features a 6-step shift control that delivers a smooth and relaxing drive. *Applicable only to the premium variant.

PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE TO FACE DURING THIS PROJECT & HOW I OVERCOME >

I cannot log in via Internet Explorer. I do

not know how to insert picture.

Face problems to find the correct link in order to

get more information about the safety features in Inspira.

>>However I managed to overcome all the above problems by getting help from my friends. Indeed, they have helped me in solving the problems I had, as this is the first time I was actively involved in the blog. Special thanks to Nurul Farzanah Hamidon and Azuin Mad Noor

CONCLUSION Additional Special Features for Vehicles:

Remote keyless entry

Keyless entry systems allow you to unlock your car by pushing a button on a remote. The ability to quickly get into your car without fumbling for the key is an important safety feature, especially in poorly-lit areas. With most remotes, pushing the button once unlocks just the driver's door; you must push twice to unlock other doors, so there's no worry about a hidden intruder jumping into the passenger's side. Most also have a panic button that honks the horn and flashes the lights.

Side airbags

Most cars have at least three feet of crush space at the front and back, but only a few inches of protection at the sides. Federally-mandated door beams help keep the car intact instead of caving in. But there's still the problem of inertia: While the car is being pushed away, your body (particularly your head, which isn't secured by the seat belt) wants to stay still, and it could go right through the side window. Side airbags cushion your noggin and help keep it safely inside the car.

Electronic stability/skid-control system

ESC systems use the anti-lock brake sensors (which show individual wheel speed), accelerometers, and steering wheel/pedal position sensors to figure out what the car is doing and what the driver wants it to do. If the two don't seem to match up, ESC does what no driver can: It applies the brakes to individual wheels and reduces power as needed to keep the car going where the driver is trying to point it. They are almost transparent and work surprisingly well.

PRECAUTIONS !

Make sure that the future design is friendly environment and do not harm others. Make sure the air bag is installed properly so that more serious injury can be avoided. Observe the speed limit. The speed limit does not exist for people to actually go up to it. It serves as a reminder of what to not go over. As with anything, limits must be avoided, so it is driving. By contrast, just as you should not go over the speed limit, be cautious to not go too slow. Either one of these 2 extremes is a potential situation for collisions. OVERALL CONCLUSION

The overall conclusion is, I was enjoy and happy while building my PHYSICS blog. From this project, I have learned about the cyber rules which I do not follow before this. Special thanks to all my friends who had taught me on how to insert picture. BIG THANK YOU to NURUL FARZANAH who is really supporting me ! Well there's a lot of fun to create and being active in my own blog, finally, I have one
