Introduction:-

All trips by people start and end as PEDESTRIAN. Travelers generally

leave their origins as pedestrians and enter their destinations as
pedestrians.
Parking inventories are intended to gather information on existing
parking supply and their use. Parking inventories include observations of
the number of parking spaces and their location, time, and type of
parking facility. The study area is divided into several block stalls to
facilitate the recording of parking locations. Inventory data is then
displayed in tables to allow for a comprehensive method of evaluating
the data.
An accumulation check is used to analyze the study area's parking
capacity. Parking accumulation is the total number of vehicles parked at
any given time. The purpose of accumulation checks is to establish
hourly variations and peak parking demand.

* Most parking inventory data is collected manually, with observers

canvassing an area on foot, counting, and noting curb spaces and
applicable time restrictions, as well as recording the location, type, and
capacity of off-street parking facilities.
Methodology:-
This project is aimed at estimating the following:
1. Average Duration
2. Parking Supply Assessment
3. Turnover Rate

For {Shopping Strip, Khalid Ibn Alwalid , Rakkah } from: 9am to 2pm.
We will start:

1- by numbering the parking spots (stalls).

2- Then prepare a table and start the study.
3- We will do an accumulation check and record vehicle numbers
parking in each spot.
4- After 15 minutes, we will go on the next round and check if the
vehicle number in the spot did not change we mark it with (),if
it's empty we will mark it ( - ).
5- The keeps going until the end of the study period process.
6- Then we start the calculations with the data that we have
collected using these equations:-
Calculations and data:-
We have four row A, B, C and D.
License plate parking data

Calculation:

NT=579 total parking observed

Ts=5 h
Ps=157 stall
I=0.25 h

D=0.765 h/veh
TR=0.738 veh/stall/h
Conclusion:

In conclusion, after conducting the study we realized that during peak hour the
rush is high And the majority of the parkings in front of restaurants are full
most of the time but each Vehicle doesn’t take long cause the majority of them
are delivery drivers. However, Some cars took longer cause the dined in. Also,
grocery shops costumers took long time and Occupied less spots due to
 .working hours
Conducting the study helped us a lot with realizing the parking system and how
.each spot Was occupied differently
