TRANSLATION NOTES

Period:
The spring semester term runs from January to May.
The fall semester term runs from August to December.
The summer program runs from June to July.

The terms usually take 15 weeks, in addition to one week of midterm exams and one more week of final
examinations after the sixteenth week.

Credits:
The recommended credit load for regular students at the Anahuac University in Mexico City is 40 credits per term,
usually equivalent to 6 or 7 courses. Each course is usually worth 6 credits for 3 hours of class per week and 3
hours of study at home (45 hours per semester at the classroom and 45 hours per semester of study at home).

The Spanish language mandatory course takes 90 hours per term and worth 6 credits: 3 hours of class per week
and 3 hours of study at home, 45 hours per semester at the classroom and 45 hours per semester of study at
home.

Grades:
At the Anahuac University in Mexico City, the grading system is based on a 10 (ten) point scale, where the
minimum passing grade is 6 (six), and the maximum grade that can be obtained is 10 (ten).

Final examinations under the ordinary term are Ordinary Examinations (Ord).
Examinations taken after the ordinary term are Remediation Examinations (Rem).

The General Point Average (promedio aritmético) is obtained by adding up all grades and dividing by the number
of courses taken by the student.
