The TED Talk is all about the importance of media
literacy. The speaker compared media literacy to
Wonder Woman's golden lasso of truth. She talked
about the importance of learning media literacy at
a very early age. Media literacy is a skill that
everyone can use in real life. Through media
literacy, the students can connect school, and real
life. Since we encounter different kinds and forms
of media every day. The speaker discussed how
media literacy can create more engagements by
sharing ideas and uncovering more truths and
stories.

I have learned how valuable media literacy is. Her
analogy of the lasso of truth is on point. Media
literacy is more than just a tool if one can have it. It
could be used as a weapon against deception and
cynicism. It could also be used as a bridge
between academics and real life, as this skill is
one, we can use every day. Media literacy also
opens to unspoken ideas, and creativity. Media
literacy is a tool, and a skill, that everyone could
utilize.
