Once there was a terrible disease

And all the animals wanted it to cease
And so they came up with some powerful words
If they were true, nobody knows.

The lion said “We will promise 100,000 tests a day,

To hopefully make this virus go away!”
One month had passed and no progress was made
The lion was lying – and the virus still stayed.

The pig said “Stay Alert, Control the Virus, Save lives”
Nobody understood, so everyone didn’t abide
So nobody did anything, because they didn’t know
What to do, so the virus was still on the go.

Meanwhile, across the pond, the bull had something to say.

“This virus doesn’t need a vaccine, it will just go away!”
Nobody made a vaccine so the world was in danger
Which made more people die, and the virus more fatal.

Powerful words is all it takes

To persuade a country into doing mistakes,
So when theres a real danger – and people lie
It all ends up badly, and the world could die.
