ORDER:

In pursuance of the Government orders vide reference and 2"^ cited,

certain P&EIs have been allotted to Distillery Wing and they were posted to
various Distillery Units in the state vide reference 3'"^ cited. During the said
transfers, the Nodal Deputy Commissioner, Kurnool has proposed (11) P&EIs of
Kurnool Zone to Distillery wing in excess of his share quota in the cadre of P&EI
and they have been posted in clear vacancies available in various Distillery /
Brewery Units in Distillery wing. He has brought the above facts to the notice of
the Commissioner of Proh. & Excise only at the time of effecting promotions to
the P&ESIs to the cadre of P&EIs.

The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) in its meeting heid on

28.10.2019 approved the list of eligible P&ESIs / Senior Assistants for effecting
promotions to the cadre of P&EI in Zone-I, Zone-II and Zone-Ill in the
references 4'" to 6^^ cited. As the above (11) P&EIs of Zone-IV are working in
excess of their share quota in Distillery wing, they had to be repatriated to their
regular wing in Zone-IV so as to give posting orders to the P&EIs who are
approved in the DPC in Zone-I, II and III. Hence vide this office ref. 7'^'^ cited, the
(11) P&EIs of Zone-IV who were working in Distillery wing in excess of their
share quota, have been repatriated to Zone-IV and postings were also issued in
regular wing. However, the said orders were kept in abeyance on administrative
grounds.

As the entire issue is cropped up due to negligence and carelessness of the

Nodal DC, Kurnool, he has been called for explanation in the ref. 9*^^ cited.

Therefore, in view of the above stated circumstances and for

administrative reasons, the following postings are ordered in supersession of this
office orders issued in the reference 7^'^ cited.

The Assistant Commissioners (Distilleries), Vijayawada, Kakinada and

Tirupati are requested to relieve the above officers with immediate effect duly
directing them to join at their respective place of posting immediately.
The Deputy Commissioners of Prohibition & Excise, Kurnool, Chittoor, YSR
Kadapa and Anathapuramu districts are requested to admit the individuals and
report the date of their joining.

However, this order is issued subject to the ratification of the Government.
