Why do you think so?
I think it can happen. Because I think that one bad
thing can create a series of consequences one after
another.

was.
I have never had such a bad day. But one of the
worst things that ever happened to me was going on
vacation and arriving at the hotel late at night, and
the clerk locked us out because of the time.
4. Have you heard about “Murphy’s laws”? What are
they about?
Yes, Murphy's law says that if something can go
wrong, it will go wrong.
5. Number the bad things that happened to the
woman:
a) She forgot to set the alarm clock.
b) She overslept and could not have a shower or
breakfast.
c) The car wouldn’t start.

e) She found a spot in the parking garage but a

6. What would you do if you were in the woman’s place?


I would try to calm down so as not to make the day
worse.
7. What would you have done differently? Why?
I would have tried not to panic to avoid acting recklessly
in any situation.
8. How would you feel after a day like that?
I would feel tired and that I was very unlucky.
