If the Autostart function is not enabled you can start the installation by clicking on the "Start"-Menu and choose "Run". Then type "E:\setup.exe" in the window (if "E" is the letter of your CD-ROM Drive). If another letter is assigned to your CD-ROM Drive please change it into the correct letter. (NB. "D:\setup.exe") Note: In order to run "Zanzarah - The Hidden Portal" you will need to have DirectX Version 8.1. installed on your PC. 3) PLAY ZANZARAH If Zanzarah has been correctly installed you can either start it by selecting START/Programs/THQ/Zanzarah/Zanzarah - The Hidden Portal or by inserting the Zanzarah CD into the CD-ROM drive. Note: The original CD must be in the CD-ROM drive while playing. --------------------------------------------------------4) TROUBLESHOOTING Most problems are caused by outdated drivers (Graphic card and Sound card). Please contact your hardware manufacturer to get the latest drivers. Windows() 2000 users should have the Service Pack 2 installed. Windows() XP and Windows() 2000 users should make sure they are logged in as Admin , when installing Zanzarah. For optimal performance on your system, you can adjust the graphic details in the options menu. If you have a system with the minimum specs you should disable the "extra geometry" and set the shadow details level to medium. Extra Geometry: enabling this will add a few more graphical details. Please note that this will take up additional CPU performance and is only recommended for p layers with high-end PCs. KNOWN ISSUES: If you have a 3D-card with the Kyro chipset, we recommend to switch into the 16 bit-mode because otherwise graphics errors may occur.
