DRIVER’S LICENSE

The rules of the road are different from country to country. In some countries it’s very easy to get a driver’s
license. In others, like Brazil, it’s pretty difficult. What do you have to do to get a driver’s license in Brazil?
Here are some rules: First you have to be 18 years old or more. Then you will have to take a driving test.
But in Brazil, there are four different steps for this test. The first step is a medical test to show you are
healthy enough to drive. They test your eyesight. The second step is a mental test to show how you think
and to make sure you can solve problems. The third step is a course about traffic rules and theoretical
driving course. When you have accomplished about 45 hours of this course, you can take a written test.
Then you are ready for the fourth and last step. The last step is to take practical driving lessons. After many
hours of practice, you take a driving test. If you pass all these different steps, you can finally get a Brazilian

Manta Rock Festival. Read Savannah’s e-mail and write an informal letter to give an
answer to her. Write between 80 and 100 words.

November 20, 2014

Dear Angie,

It’s great to write this words to you just to let you know that the Manta Rock
Festival is on December. What if you come and we can go together? I know
you love this city, is there any place you would like to visit?

I can get tickets for both this month, the prices depend on where we sit. Can
you tell me what you prefer?

You can stay in my house so we can do things together too. Is there anything
special you’d like to do?

Write to me soon.
Love,

Savannah
