Market Description
Our business is proud to claim that we are the first ice cream
shop to start within Bulacan province. The business plan will look
at its market demographic within Norzagaray, Angat, and San Jose
Del Monte Bulacan.

Our market research has shown that Toothless’ Sweets is the

first ice cream shop existing within the three target areas in
Bulacan. We would like to offer our business to people especially
kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults as well. The target age of
our business will be 8-25 years old. Typically, teenagers and young
adults spend their money mostly on food, especially desserts. As
summer and school vacations started, many teens will be out
discovering and finding good food that will ease the summer heat.
Since 29.40% is the population consists of children and young
adolescents/teenagers within these areas, Toothless’ Sweets can
confidently say that the business will positively grow as it is the
only ice cream shop in these places.

COMPETITION
Niña Pedroso’s enterprise does not have any similar business
around Norzagaray, Angat, and San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, that
is why the only competitors that are considered are the milk tea
shops and coffee shops in nearby places such as ATM Hub, Drop
Tea, and Drip Tea, and Big Brew.
The strength of this business is that it is the only ice cream
shop existing within these areas, it will be a new sight to see and
new food to try for the customers. The sales may grow as people
love to try new things in their place.
Its weakness, on the other hand, is, that it is a new thing to
try to the people within the area, and there are still no reviews
about our product. Potential customers may doubt or be scared to
try out our ice cream shop.
MARKETING STRATEGIES:
Toothless’ Sweets will try to make accounts on different
social media platforms to endorse their business. Before the debut
of the store, different kinds of advertisements as teasers will be
posted to get the attention of potential customers via social media.

During the first five days of the shop, there will be a 30%
discount on any type of ice cream that the buyers will purchase,
plus the free toppings. Moreover, Toothless’ Sweets will also give
discounts during special holidays such as Christmas, New Year,
and even Halloween and Valentine’s Day.

MANUFACTURING PLANS:
Toothless’ Sweets will get their products from their
manufacturer, since it is only an ice cream shop that gets its
products from other companies, there will be no production of ice
cream inside the shop since we will get our products from a known
ice cream manufacturer in the Philippines. Gallons of ice cream
will be ordered per week depending on the demand for each flavor.
On the other hand, the toppings and the utensils, as well as the
cups and packaging will be bought personally by the owner of the
shop through a known seller. The owner will eventually start a
contract for her known seller of different toppings, utensils, and
cups that she will use on her products so that it will lessen the
hassle of the weekly schedule of buying products. As we get our
products and prepare them, we are the ones who will decide on
how we can customize our own menu for the customers.

CONTINGENCY PLANS:

1.) For unacceptable sales levels during the first year: The business
will promote the product more often than normal on social media
sites. The group will create promotional films, consumer feedback
videos, and banners that will be often placed on their website.

2.) For unacceptable sales levels in Norzagaray, Angat, and San

Jose Del Monte: The enterprise will analyze sales after one year of
promoting items in these places of Bulacan (Norzagaray, Angat,
and San Jose Del Monte). If sales do not exceed the entrepreneurs'
expectations, Toothless’ Sweets will elect to contract with
renowned retailers in the area. We may negotiate a contract in
which we will pay the shop to sell and advertise our items;
because they are well-known in the region, introducing a new
product to their well-known store will be simple.

3.) For unacceptable business liquidity: Toothless’ Sweets will

assess the enterprise’s accounts receivable procedures to ensure
that payment lengths are acceptable and payments are received on
time if the enterprise lacks liquidity. Furthermore, cash flow
forecasts will be examined to determine whether unexpected cash
layouts/expenses are endangering the company's financial
viability.
