4.1 SDLC MODEL

For the development of an e-commerce website like "kalp Masala"

that involves the sale of goods and services online, the recommended
software engineering SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
model is the Agile model.The Agile model is well suited for e-
commerce websites as it emphasizes flexibility and rapid response to
changes in user requirements and market trends. It involves iterative
and incremental development cycles that allow for continuous
improvement and feedback from users.

The Agile model involves the following phases:
