What is Canva?
Canva is a user-friendly graphic design tool with pre-designed templates,
fonts, and images that enable users to create professional visuals like
posters, flyers, infographics, and social media graphics easily.

Dual-Coding Technique- Infographic

I created the science infographic example on the


next four slides using Canva's drag-and-drop
interface and pre-designed templates.
I chose a template and added text, images, and icons
to visually represent the science concept.

I customized the design by changing colors, fonts,


and layout to fit the content and purpose. I used
Canva's design elements, such as grids, alignment,
and spacing, to ensure a cohesive and professional-
looking design. Finally, I exported the infographic as
an image file that can be printed or shared digitally.

A biome is a large area
characterized by its vegetation, soil,
climate, and wildlife.

How to Create a Poster
Open Canva and select "Poster" from the templates

Choose a layout that fits the purpose and message of the poster

Add text and images using Canva's drag-and-drop interface


Customize the design by changing colors, fonts, and layout


Use Canva's design elements to ensure a cohesive and


professional-looking poster

Export the poster as an image file and print or share digitally

Using Canva to Create
Interactive Worksheets
Canva is a great tool for creating interactive and
engaging worksheets for students.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create an
interactive worksheet using Canva:

1. Choose the appropriate template or size for the


worksheet.
2. Add images and text boxes to the worksheet.

3. Add interactive elements such as hotspots or


clickable objects using the “Link” function in Canva
.
4. Insert questions, puzzles or other interactive
elements using the “Shapes” function in Canva.

5. Use the “Group” and “Ungroup” functions to organize


your worksheet.
