Disposition Form Analysis

Taking into consideration my results from educational philosophies self-assessment as

well as my past experiences inside a classroom, I believe that I have given myself a fair score on

the disposition. I believe that I need to develop a better application of effective communication

skills whether that be with peers, professionals, or more. In situations that require collaboration

and group work I tend to state my opinions, however do feel as though I am not participating or

communicating to my full potential.

Another two areas I believe I could develop and improve my skills in are social and

ecological justice, as well as professional development. While I do try to work with those of

different backgrounds and confront negative stereotypes, in my opinion I wouldn’t say that I am

an active advocate as I don't participate in things as much as others. As well for professional

development, I continuously visit professional growth and engage in professional development,

just not to the final point where I have become a leader in it. Overall, while some areas need

specific work in order to improve, in other I believe my experience and educational philosophies

both demonstrate the reasoning for the rest.
