DAS gain calibration has not been run since converter boards were changed
DUE TO Scanning hardware is hung : Power off gantry for 2 minutes .
Issue

Getting error Message 'DAS gain calibration has not been run since converter boards were changed' while running fast
cals.

Troubleshooting

Scanning hardware is hung.

This is often associated with errors in the log identifying the failing controller.
Isolated instances could be related to power faults. Repeated instances should be investigated.
Search the error log for repeated occurrences.

Troubleshoot by attempting manual communication with the offending controller using "ping","nbsClient", etc.

Examples:

ping orp
ping tgp
ping etc
ping stc
ping obcr

Try cycling power to the Table Gantry. Leave the power off for at least (2) minutes to give all power supplies a chance to
bleed-off to zero volts. Often this can be done by using the Gantry Enable switch found on many PDU's. If an FE or In-
House field engineer is on site it can also be done by turning the gantry off and then, after a minute or two, turn back
on using the gantry power switch. In some cases, the whole system will need to have the power cycled.

Power off gantry for 2 minutes - PDU with external gantry power switch.

Power-down the gantry for (2) minutes. Power-up and press gantry reset.

This resolution concept is intended for all LightSpeed based systems, (LS 2 .x – 8.x, QXI, BrightSpeed, and RT systems)
that have a CPDU with a PDU Auxiliary Gantry Power Switch or NGPDU that has the external Gantry Enable light/switch
on the front. If the system does not have those switches use Power-down the gantry for (2) minutes - LightSpeed and
pre-LightSpeed WITHOUT PDU external gantry power switch.

When cycling power to the Gantry, always leave it off for two minutes to bleed off all power before turning it back on.  This
is especially important on VCT scanners. Failing to leave the gantry off long enough may cause the power supplies
to not start up at the correct voltages and the cooling fans will not work. Verify with the user that they hear the
fans restart after the gantry is powered back up.

On a CPDU, there is a PDU Auxiliary Gantry Power Switch located on the upper right rear of the CPDU as viewed from the
front of the PDU. See illustration 1 below.

Ill 1.

On a NGPDU, there is a green Gantry Enable Switch on the front upper right corner next to the big red Emergency Off
button. It looks like an indicator light, but if it is pushed, the gantry will lose power. Pushing it again restores power to the
gantry. See Illustration 2.

Ill 2.

Of course, if the service person is on site, they can also cycle gantry power using the service panel gantry power switch.
Note: This method is restricted to qualified service personnel only.

After gantry power is restored, you will need to reset the x-ray and drives power with the Gantry Reset button located on
the gantry control panel.  With H2 gantries, you will also have to reset Scan Hardware inside Service tools.  HP
gantries reset the Scan Hardware when the gantry reset button is pushed.

To do this use the standard best practices, tools and procedures that fall within the scope of past service training
curriculum and employee qualifications.

Follow all Safety and Quality Procedures that are found in the Service Manuals.

It is the service persons’ responsibility to use the appropriate system documentation to effect repairs and prove the service
action had the desired or intended effect, with no adverse effects.
