Development for the Georgia Association for Gifted Children’s
Coalition for Access and Equity

1)To investigate issues related to access and equity through the
support of state level projects.
2)To participate in a resource working group to help bring completion
to a talent development survey project and identification menu tool for
districts in the State of Georgia.
3)To capture the impact of my work through the collection of
quantitative and qualitative data pieces.

D. Developmental Statement
In a brief statement (1 single-spaced page max), discuss how this experience is
new and/or qualitatively different from what you have done before, and how it helps
to enhance your professional development/future aspirations.

This experience will allow me to assist in the project completion of the coalition,
which seeks to evaluate assessment methods and brainstorm issues for high ability
students. I will be able to take a closer look at the gifted experience of a student
through research and collecting data from local schools.
