Introduction:
Be a Kid

written by Antoine Saint-Exupery clearly expresses the curiosity
the little prince has and wouldn’t let go of the question until
completely answered and explained thoroughly through the use
of character, symbolism, and imagery. Expounding that curiosity
is our driving force that drives us towards our greatest heights
and our greatest knowledge, our curiosity should not end but
excel in exploring more unknown possibilities for a reason that
there’s never enough information to know about than there
already is.

with it. He needs the rest now more than ever because he will
soon fade and not be performing well if he continuously diverts
himself to keep on working as a lamplighter. Meeting all the
various different types of living creatures brings the little prince
knowledge and emotions with each emotion feeling different for
each living creature he’s met. In how the little prince met the
fox wasn’t a good beginning but an amazing ending. (25)
Secondly, now diving into the relationship the fox has with the
little prince has become a true friendship unlike any other. The
fox clearly stating the underlying principle of tame as the little
prince was curious of the word, he eventually tamed the fox
therefore beginning their bond of friendship, meaning something
to each other more than anyone could ever know. (21) Their
bond grew as the little prince remained on earth for a while and
explored more of its territory to learn more about the earth. This
is what brought happiness to their loneliness as both were in need
of someone until they found each other and through their bond
were the strengthening of their chemistry and overall personality.
Something that rarely people can change for a person, if and
only if the person really meant something to each other that
everyone desperately needs. Friendship is a bond not to be
mistreated but empowered through suffering while resting is not
a bad habit once in a while because it is through rest we get
perseverance to be diligent and gain happiness.

businessman. Both giving satisfying answers to the little prince
but unsatisfying personalities and conclusions that further
disappoints the little prince and proving why adults are adults.
Exhibiting how adults act around their peers and their immature
response and behavior throughout their life, urging for the little
prince to dislike them and immediately depart from them.
Thirdly the conceited man, a man filled with pride in the name
itself is pretty self explanatory, his desire for compliments acts as
a boost in his ego to further create an impression on the peers
he sees. Unable to be attentive and listen to what the little
prince has to say and only will listen if the words were about
his beauty. (11) Creating an impressive image indeed but an
unimpressive personality that ruins the overall image. Like a
saying you’re pretty on the outside but on the inside you're ugly
then making your looks outside ugly too meaning that you have
a good looking face but your heart is not good rather bad
inevitably badly affecting your appearance. Restricting
communication with peers and allowing the peers to feel like
their presence is invalidated or not noteworthy. Bringing
negativity and prideful behavior that pushes people away more
than it draws. Although the little prince moved on he still hadn’t
been able to find a noteworthy friend until the fox. Moving on
to each next planet not for searching a friend but exploring the
unknown. In the next encounter, meeting the inevitable
businessman confuses the little prince and the knowledge he
gives to the little prince. (25) Fourthly the business man, a man
with a job to be the sole owner of each object in existence and
gain ownership over all as to be the richest man in resources
even owning objects that can’t be owned for the very reason that
it can’t be controlled. Showing excessive amounts of obsession
over materialistic things that have no value over the rest of the
world compared to the value of humankind. (13) Showing that
the value of humankind is not greater than the value for
materialistic things, being obsessed and addicted towards things
that won’t matter in the long run nor will it last forever.

Idolizing them as his own idols and not contributing to their
lives whatsoever only causes broken relationships. The act of self
confidence isn’t the issue but the act of prideful egotism displays
the addiction and obsession you have within yourself, clearly
seeing the connection between the conceited man and the
businessman and how they relate, with that being said the
prideful and addictive behaviors proves no signs of growth and
maturity, only signs of neglect, unable to grasp why people
dislike you because of the negative attitude you portray once you
are with them therefore a problem we should remove, a problem
that will be erase, and a problem that will help us develop more
as a person and overcome the mistakes made, building a whole
new personality that not only benefits others but yourself.

character develops through the process and it’s not how far
you’ve gone through but how far you are willing to go that
makes a difference. Embracing the practicality of experiences and
the values of intuitive learning which are the empowerment to be
our driving force through curiosity, our motivation to be resilient
and persevere in learning makes life more interesting.
