FILIPINO LITERARY AUTHORS/WRITERS

Winton Lou G. Ynion, is the author of the “The Love of Magdalena

Jalandoni.” He is a young poet, fictionist, critic, and teacher from
Iloilo who has worked on various Hiligaynon literature.

Antonio Reyes Enriquez is the author of several books of short stories

and novels. He is the author of Green Sanctuary.

Ariel S. Tabag, is a multi-awarded writer of “Voice Tape.” He is the

editor for the Ilocano literary magazine Bannawag, and a native of
Santa Teresa, Cagayan.

Ralph Semino Galán is a poet, literary critic and translator. He is an

Associate Professor of Literature, the Humanities, and Creative
Writing at the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters and the UST Graduate
School. The poem Justice by Ralph Semino Galan is such a timely
literature in our. society today. This poem tackles the reality that the
justice system of our country is. weak and slow.

Jessica Tarahata Hagedorn (born 1949) is an American playwright,

writer, poet, and multimedia performance artist. She is the author
of the poem “Sorcery.”

Fernando Maramag was an excellent Filipino poet and journalist. He

was the author of the poem “Moonlight in Manila Bay.”

Jett Franco is the author of the poem “It’s More Fun in the
Philippines.”
