What is the significance of the NSTP Law in student training?
Student’s Answer:

From the video that I watched, the NSTP law states that all freshmen students are required to finish one
NSTP components, either ROTC, LTS or CWTS. It also mentioned that the NSTP law aims to enhance civic
consciousness and defense preparedness of the youth.

The NSTP Law is important for student training because it trains students on how to serve and protect the
nation and its citizens. It also teaches them how to be well disciplined and at the same time promote
nationalism and patriotism. There are 3 components that NSTP has, and each component has different
roles which can help in guiding the students. An example is ROTC, where it teaches the students about
national defense preparedness. Another one is the CWTS, which focuses on the betterment of the
members of the community. That is why NSTP Law is important in student training as it helps the students
to be aware and be well disciplined.
