BACKGROUND
Ellie spent multiple months in a psychiatric facility in
Virginia over the last couple of years. Ellie is
pansexual and uses she/her/hers pronouns. She has
been bullied in the past for her identity and she has
struggled with a mood disorder, along with anxiety
and depression. Ellie has made multiple attempts at
suicide, including jumping out a second story building
and slitting her wrist with a blade from a pencil
sharpener in February.

ACCORDING TO PARENT AND THERAPIST

Ellie has struggled with keeping her focus on the past
and believes that she is defined because of her previous
actions.

GRADES (GPA) REFFEREAL

Quarter 1: 2.6 PROCESS
Quarter 2: 2.7 Ellie's parents requested
Quarter 3: 3.2 a daily check-in and
check-out at the IEP
meeting.

ACHIEVED GOALS
1. Create a support system with those of
similar interests or backgrounds at school.
a. We created a poetry club, which Ellie
helps run each week on Mondays.
2. Increase hope and understanding that Ellie
has a major role in how the future looks.
a. Able to get a transfer into a high school
where Ellie will have a fresh start.
3. Increase school schedule from four classes
to five.
