Eco Paper Cups will offer unique,useful and has good intention to our
planet that will help to reduce plastic pollution or waste, Paper Cups have
numerous advantages like; they are manufactured in a very simple process
using Food Grade Raw Materials with least waste and are easiest to recycle.
So our idea is produce our product for individual servings at all kinds of
parties, functions, picnic occasions, marriages, chat, tea & food joints, etc.
They are also a sustainable choice because they are made from a renewable
resource, whose cultivation benefits the environment. In other words, they
are made with wood fiber from sustainably managed forests, which is a
100% renewable resource.My company will be initially operating as home
based enterprise and will use social media platforms (like
facebook,Instagram,Twitter or even emails )to advertise my product.initial
capitalization for my business is Php 50,000 for 0ne month
expenses .expected revenue for 1 year is Php 324,000 while total cost for
goods sold amounted to Php 27,000,while the total cost of goods sold
amounted to php 27,000

The material requirements and their sources are as follows:
MATERIALS SOURCES
Paper Paper is a thin sheet material produced by mechanically or chemically
processing cellulose fibres derived from wood, rags, grasses or other
vegetable sources in water, draining the water through fine mesh
leaving the fibre evenly distributed on the surface, followed by
pressing and drying.
Raw A raw material, also known as a feedstock, unprocessed material, or
material primary commodity, is a basic material that is used to produce goods,
finished goods, energy, or intermediate materials that are feedstock
for future finished products.
Paperboar Paperboard is a thick paper-based material. While there is no rigid
d differentiation between paper and paperboard, paperboard is
generally thicker than paper and has certain superior attributes such as
foldability and rigidity.
Straw Straw is an agricultural byproduct consisting of the dry stalks of cereal
plants after the grain and chaff have been removed. It makes up about
half of the yield of cereal crops such as barley, oats, rice, rye and
wheat.

D. Production Process and Controls that will be used to manufacture the
product Below is the process on how to make Paper Cup:
1. The foodservice paperboard is turned into reels.
2. The reels are printed and cut into carefully measured cup sidewall
blanks.
3. The blanks are inserted into cup-forming machines that wrap the
blanks into a cup shape and add the bottom.
4. The seams of the cups are heated in order to make the cups liquid
proof.
5. Finally, the machine trims the cups into their final, round shape.
6. Add label. Print in small square paper the name and logo of the
business.
7. Indicate also the sizes.

F. Regulatory and Other Compliance Issues
Eco Paper Cup will be registered as a single proprietorship type of business
to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). A barangay clearance will
also be secured before applying for a mayor's permit to operate as a home-
based business micro enterprise. The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
registration will also be done after getting all the necessary registration
documents and permits from DTI, barangay, and mayor's office.
