ENG -B1 -DELIVERY TASK 1 to 4

• TASK 1:
My friend Alexa is a person who likes helping people and learning about
languages. She is a person how understands my humor and always has a
good view of the life. She lives near to my neighborhood. I known since we
were born because our moms are friends since they were in the school.
We have different personalities because our lifestyles are not similar. Here
(is) an example: She enjoys it when she goes to a party and I enjoy it when I
stay at home and watch a serie. Also, we have similar things like we love it
when we eat a big burger.
I think that we have a special relationship because we can talk about
anything and always, we have time for us.
• TASK 2:
One month ago, I was talking with my friend in the street in front of my
house when I saw a straight person in the other street. He looked how(like)
a dangerous person but like 2 minutes later, that person asked me where he
could find drugs. My friend was in shock so she didn’t know what to do. She
kept silent and looked at me with a scared face.
I was so nervous because I think he was a thieve but when I responded that
I didn’t have idea. He said “thanks” and he immediately went away. After
that, we come into the house and told this story to my mom.
• TASK 3:
I know you are going to visit my beautiful Bogota and I don’t want that you
come here without knowing about our culture so I am going to give you
some advices for your travel. For example, if you invited someone to eat,
you’re supposed to pay the dinner and it’s the custom to pick up the person
that you invited. Another situation, if you are in a restaurant, it’s not
acceptable to be unpolite with the servers and you’re expected to eat
typical food like “ajiaco” or “sudado”. The last advice, if you are meeting
people, you’re not supposed to be cold with them and it’s the custom to
talk about your life and what you do. I think these are my advices for you
but don’t forget that you always have to be careful with everybody.
• TASK 4:
Dear Mercado Libre
The last week, I bought a dishwasher and yesterday I received it but it has
many problems that I’m going to tell you and too give you some solutions.
First, the box is damaged and it’s not a big problem but a little
recommendation, the boxes need to be stronger. Second one, the door is
dent, this is difficult because I can’t use all the dishwasher and the last one,
the dishwasher has a leak and a crack. I have 2 solutions; the dishwasher
needs to be inspected for a technique and the other is the dishwasher
needs changing for a new one.
