“EMEA Partner Community - Software Base Accreditation”

Target Group:
System and application programmers of the EMEA Partner Community responsible for:
 Installation and configuration of ProCash Application, Terminal Security and ProView software on / in a
Diebold Nixdorf ATM environment
 Interfacing the ATM with an application in a direct connect or controller environment.

Prerequisites:
 Portfolio information - You already passed the:
o WBT: Banking Software Introduction (1.5 hours WBT)
o WBT: Security Introduction (1 hour WBT)
o WBT: Terminal Security Basics (1 hour WBT)
o WBT: Monitoring Introduction (1 hour WBT)
 Domain know how
o Basic ATM software domain knowledge and of the overall eco system
o Understanding of TCP/IP based terminal-host connection & NDC / 91x protocols
o Basic know how on Server related software and installation procedures
o Awareness on security concerns inherent to ATMs
 Platform software trainings or comparable knowledge
o ProBase/C foundation (1 x 4 hrs online)
o ProBase/C Advanced (3 days classroom)
o And if applicable: Agilis XfS for Opteva Series (4 days classroom)

Objective:
The students will be able to install, configure and maintain the Packaged ProCash application. They will
learn how to handle the features offered by this application through the Application Configuration Utility
(ACU) and Trace Analyzer Tool. In addition, attendees will study how to activate the ProView Agent and
Terminal Security software copied onto the ATM during Packaged ProCash installation. Students obtain
information on how to deploy the default configuration for both add on solutions and install the server
environment where applicable.

Contents:
 Packaged ProCash (Monovendor, W7)
o Purpose, contents, installation media, expected environment and supporting documentation
o Standard workflows from first lab installation to field deployment on Windows 7 OS
o How to initiate a project and perform customizations using the Application Configuration Utility (ACU)
o Test- and support functions such as trace activation
o Evaluating compatibility with Switch environments using Trace Analyzer
o Process to address the application lifecycle. From troubleshooting to applying patches or other
updates.
 ProView Event Monitoring (Blueprint)
o Functional overview of the Event Monitoring scope and supporting documentation
o ProView Agent installation options and activation in the field
o Installing the Server environment, expected environment and set up
o Deployment of the default configuration
o Understanding the operator console
 Terminal Security (Blueprint)
o Functional overview of the pre-defined Terminal Security Blueprint for Access Protection, Intrusion
Protection and Hard Disk Encryption.
o Steps to complete the installation to activate the solution bundle on an ATM
o Deployment of the default Security Policy File
Note:
Please bring your laptop and make sure you have the appropriate user rights to install i.e. tools, simulators
or virtual machines on your device. The class concentrates on knowledge transfer for the pre-defined scope
of the Packaged ProCash and associated blueprints. If you wish to obtain end to end delivery enablement for
an a la carte approach, please book the respective Expert Trainings in addition to this course. We will have a
learning control test at the end of the course focusing on Packaged ProCash.
