Review of the Shaping Papers

The Shaping Paper provides guidance to the curriculum writers on the curriculum goals,
rationale, features of the curriculum, learning standards, as well as the instructional delivery and
assessment. It also explains the bases of the new features, curriculum design, and the
integration of 21st century skills, social issues and government thrusts.

There are two (2) shaping papers that may be reviewed:

A. General Shaping Paper (for the overview of the revised curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade
10)

B. Learning Area Shaping Paper (for the specific learning area)
