ELEVATED TEMPERATURE PROPERTIES

AISI 4340 capable in continuous service up to 400oC. Its use however at these higher
working temperatures results in a substantial drop in tensile strength and hardness. It is
therefore not recommended for use at working temperatures above 315oC.
