DATE : 30 July 2018 ‘The Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) Program is organizing a meeting to progress the implementation of activities approved under its Fifth Annual Plan (AP5). The meeting will be held on 13 August 2018, Monday (9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM), in yet to be identified venue in Manila. The meeting is meant to secure common understanding regarding: a. BEST APS strategic approach/direction, program focus and structure; b, The Overview of the Learning and Development (L&D) System and arrangements for Regional Support for the L & D System; ¢, Work Plans for ali Regional Activities; and d, Relevant risks and implementation issues through developing mitigation measures and appropriate action to ensure efficient and effective program delivery and program closure As BEST's key implementing partner, representatives from this Department, who will play lead roles in the development of activity proposals are requested to participate in this one-day exercise particularly the Regional Directors, Chiefs of Human Resource and Development Division in each Region, the Schools Division Superintendents and Chiefs of SGOD from Divisions (please refer to the list below) where the interventions will take place.
