NOTIFICATION

Subject:- Taking over the management of Tufanialunga Tea garden and Tipperah Tea
Corporation Ltd. by the Tea Development Corporation Ltd. as an interim
measure.

In pursuance of the order of the Principal Secretary, Revenue, Government of

Tripura dated 11-03-2022, the District Administration, West Tripura District has taken
over the possession of the land of Tufanialunga and Tipperah Tea Gardens w.e.f. 03-07-
2022.

2) It has been decided by the State Government that the Tripura Tea Development
Corporation Ltd. (TTDCL), a wholly owned corporation of the Government of
Tripura will take over management of the aforesaid tea gardens for the interest of
tea garden workers vis-à-vis tea industries of the State.

3) The above arrangement is purely an interim one subject to further orders. TTDCL
shall not create any third party interest in any manner in respect of the Tea Gardens.

4) The order shall come into force with immediate effect.
