I prayed you'd feel

God's presence, Feel His guidance from above. I asked Him to keep you safe and
warm, To send an angel before you, To make a path and light the way, In whatever
you might do. I have put you in His loving care. I trust Him with all my heart.
He's faithful in His promises, From you He will not part. When tomorrow comes
please tell me That you said a prayer for me. Lovers praying for each other, Is
what our Father loves to see.

I said a prayer for you today,

and know God must have heard -
I felt the answer in my heart
although He spoke no word!
I didn�t ask for wealth or fame,
I knew you wouldn�t mind -
I asked Him to send treasures,
of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He�d be near you,
at the start of each new day...
