dynamics of interaction.

10. Has an important role to play in advancing closer regional cooperation
11. To encourage a growing and prosperous regional economy through:
trade and investment liberalization and facilitation at the border, across the border and behind
the border.
12. Achieving closer economic cooperation in such areas as trade, investment, finance, and
development.
13. Create greater prosperity for the people of the region by promoting balanced, inclusive,
sustainable, innovative and secure growth and by accelerating regional economic integration.
14. A political and economic union of 10 member states in Southeast Asia, which promotes
intergovernmental cooperation and facilitates economic, political, security, military,
educational, and sociocultural integration between its members and countries in the Asia-
Pacific.
15. This is facilitated by regional infrastructure projects as well as collaboration in delivering public
goods.
