Nature of the Business: Torta de Riso is a cottage enterprise food manufacturing. We buy
goods and make a new one and sell it for an affordable price. Because of our passion for
cooking we decided to put up a business that will cater our skills and abilities and enable us to

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Maruya De Maluya is a new food business located in Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City,

Negros Occidental. Our maruya is made with high-quality, locally sourced bananas, and cooked to

perfection with just the right amount of sweetness. The food business provides a combination of

excellent food at a lower price. Maruya De Maluya a ready to eat food to be consumed wherever

you are, as an answer to the increasing demand of ready to eat foods. The ultimate goal of the

business is to be the destination spot of every consumer around the area and to always offer the

best food product.

The business aims to target all the students, kids, parents and workers to buy and patronize the

product. The entrepreneurs will go to promote Maruya De Maluya to all consumers by innovating

the food products. Appeal to the lower income and attract customers who are good in purchasing

decisions, price sensitivity, and also customer's loyalty. The tagline “Kaon Ka Maruya Para Di

Ka Maluya” indicates the tasty of Maruya. Maruya De Maluya offers authenticity and uniqueness

to the consumer’s preferences. The pricing strategy of the business is with a retail price of four

pesos (P4). The food business makes use of face to face, and word of mouth as a promotion

strategy which helps to promote the product to possible customer.

A. Company Name : Delicacix Corporation


proposed by grade 12 students of Accountancy, Business and Management as a
requirement for their subject Entrepreneurship. Through innovation the team come
up with the name Torta de Riso which means fried rice balls. The business introduces
a new delicacies that their customers will surely love. Because of its uniqueness, the
product will capture the customer's preference of their comfort food since it has a
different taste. And for it to succeed we offer variety of strategies to maintain our
profit and provide good services to our customers

Our business will be located beside CS2 Royal King Properties Inc. Bldg., along Emilio
Agunaldo Highway, Sitio Pala-pala, Brgy.Sampaloc 1, Dasmariñas, 4114, Cavite. We decided to put
our business in this location since many people walk along these way and wait for a ride to take them home.
Which technically a perfect location for a delicacies store since they can purchase our product for "pasalubon

different forms of media, from more traditional newspapers and billboards to digital

The main role of a Production Manager is to oversee the manufacturing

process within a company and to ensure that production lines run without any problems and

minimum downtime. Working together with supervisors and top management, they also

ensure that products are manufactured to a certain

quality standard and adheres to other safety/industry-related regulations.

A chef is in charge of the kitchen in restaurants or other places where food is

served. They watch all activity and food preparation with any staff that would assist in

the kitchen. They supervise the preparation of food for its garnishing and presentation, as

well as, the seasonings for a perfect taste.

A Cashier's primary role is to assist customers in the in-store check-out process.

coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change

The main purpose of our product is to be the best food product that can be offered

and served to in an affordable price to make sure that everyone can buy and be satisfied

with it. Additionally, it can be served as an appetizer, dessert, and merienda which makes

it more suitable anytime and for everyone.

B. Product’s Unique Features


- For as low as five pesos, you can get a snack that has health benefits.

- Sticky rice also known as glutinous rice serves as a good source of selenium, a

beneficial mineral. It offers antioxidant protection for your tissues, shielding your cells

from damage caused by free radicals.

- Sticky rice also offers health benefits due to its manganese content. We need

manganese for a healthy metabolism.

- We use different ingredients that makes it unique from the existing delicacies in the

market. Like bread crumbs to make it crispy in every bite, chocolate and dried mango

filling for a balanced sweet and sour taste

D. Production Process and Controls that will be Used to Manufacture

the Product

Below is the procedure to create a Torta de Riso:

1. Making the Dough

In a mixing bowl, put the glutinous rice flour and add a water little by little while

mixing them. Be careful on adding water so that you can meet the exact texture of the

dough.

2. Filling with Chocolate and Mango


Get a mixture of the rice flour and water. Flatten it and put a right amount of chocolate ang mango.
Make it looks like a ball and make sure that the mixture covered all the chocolate and mango
inside.
3. Dipping
Whisk the egg to blend it perfectly. Then dip the balls in it.
4. Coating
Roll it on the flour
5. Dipping
Dip it again on the egg.
6. Coating
After dipping, roll it on a bread crumbs for a crunchy feeling.
7. Frying
In a low to moderate heat, wait until the oil is ready for frying. Afterwards deep fry the

rice balls until it become golden brown.

E. Distribution Logistics

Our business has its own stall beside CS2 Royal King Properties Inc. Bldg., along Emilio

Agunaldo Highway, Sitio Pala-pala, Brgy. Sampaloc 1, Dasmariñas, 4114, Cavite so you can

directly visit it. We also use social media for means of ordering. The customers will have the

option to pick-up the merchandise or have it delivered in their homes. It will also be available

to schools and companies if they choose to sell our product.

F. Regulatory and other Compliance Issues

Torta De Riso business will be registered as a partnership enterprise with Security

and Exchange Commission (SEC). A duly notarized articles of partnership. The BIR

registration will also be done after the procurement of licenses and clearances from

necessary government offices. A registration with government offices is also needed

because we're employing individuals and lastly, acquisition of business permit and

mayor's license should also be done.

A. The Competitor

Competition in the local area is somewhat sparse and does not provide nearly the

level of product quality and customer service as Delicacix Corporation. Local customers are

looking for a high quality product in a relaxing atmosphere. They desire a unique, and

classy experience. Leading competitors purchase Buko Pie, Siomai, and other

delicacies products like puto, bibingka and other

kakanin product. In addition leading competitors sell other kakanin products, buko pie, and

siomai through other channels of distribution like brochures, television, radio, and and also

through social media. Larger chains vary their product mix depending upon the size of each store

and its location

company foresee every operation to ensure nothing goes wrong to the production. All

unique concept of innovation but still have a plausible standard authentic taste. Torta de

Riso is naturally made to meet the healthy standards of the society as it includes healthy

ingredients like mango and glutinous rice flour.

Lastly, the company will not just stick with the same innovation. As time goes by,

business. The company decides to sell n this place because it is the ideal place with

growing and diverse population. And also, We decided to put our business in this location

since many people walk along these way and wait for a ride to take them home. Which

"pasalubong".

The entrepreneurs envision business prosperity; we aim to be credible enough for

you to be able to sell in other public and private establishment which shows our business

budgets the needed supply for the operations while also foreseeing the outflows and

inflows of cash that being use for the starting up of the business.

quality ingredients which are locally made and has nutritional value, and it is worth its

the used of social media. Another factor for this business is the excellent customer service

There are lot of competitors which is usual in a food industry. As a start up

business, it can be a disadvantage, since the crunchiness of this product lose when the

time passes. In addition, new normal might be a practice now in every


community. With this, it would be a disadvantage too if the product will not be sold in a

certain period due to limited people traffic.
