- Ensure that the #6 Crankset-Assembly-Bolt is
approximately flush with the surface of the crank as
illustrated in figure A, after it has been tightened to
16.2 ft-lbs.

- If the bolt has sunk lower than the crank (as


illustrated in figure B), unscrew it and start the
assembly process again beginning at step-6 of the
User Manual instructions, ensuring that the bolt
threads engage the spindle threads before engaging
the crank threads.
