I understand that Millington Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a new
elementary teaching position. I am excited to apply for this unique opportunity and am
writing to explain why I am an excellent candidate for the position. I recently just
received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and in Special Education at Alma
College.

During my undergraduate studies, I assisted teachers the past four years at Ithaca Public
Schools, Alma Public Schools, Breckenridge Public Schools, and Hemlock Public
Schools. I also have been employed with Spectrum Autism Center since March of 2021
in Saginaw. I have my certification as a Behavior Technician. During each experience, I
have gotten to not only view the classroom activities but have assisted the teachers and
prepared lesson plans. I am proficient at communicating rules and instructions.

Once again, I am grateful for the opportunity to apply for this teacher position at
Millington Public Schools. I am confident that my personality, and evolving teaching
