    Winter Session

    Winter Session:
    The winter session is considered part of the spring semester. Both Federal Pell Grant and Federal
    Direct Loans are available for the winter session. Students who are eligible will be paid during
    the spring semester and the number of credits taken during the winter will be combined with the
    number of credits taken during the spring to determine the enrollment status (full-time, three-
    quarter-time, part-time, etc.).
    Students must complete their winter classes in order for the classes to be included in the
    calculation of the enrolment status.
    Financial Aid payments for a winter course will be disbursed during the Spring semester upon
    successful completion of the winter course.
    Students enrolled in Winter only classes may be eligible for Federal Pell grant however, NYS
    Aid (TAP, APTS) is not paid if you are only enrolled for the Winter Session
