Read the given activities below and determine which type of groupings would be
most appropriate. Write a brief and concise explanation through an essay about
your choice. Be guided with the rubric below in making your activity.
1. Problem solving in mathematics
2. Experiment in science
3. Art activity
4. Role play a story
5. Vocabulary-building activity

1. PROBLEM SOLVING IN MATHEMATICS

For me, in problem solving in mathematics the most appropriate
groupings would be Grade Grouping. In every grade level there are
different complexity of its lesson. Then if we group our learners through
Grade grouping they can able to collaborate with their classmate in the
same grade level and with the same complexity of their lessons.

2. EXPERIMENT IN SCIENCE
In here, I think Cross-age grouping would be suitable. The learners
in higher level will able to guide their younger classmates. They can able to
help them in instructing what to do. Because the higher level has already
knowledge and ideas on what to do.

3. ART ACTIVITY
Ability grouping will be appropriate here, in which we should know
first who has the ability in Arts. With that we can able to know who would
be the leader that will able to help their members. In here we can able to
know who has the strength and talents in art.

4. ROLE PLAY A STORY

In here, we should consider the Interest group. We should know

who has the interest in role playing. They can able to organized their ideas
on how to properly portray their story

5. VOCABULARY-BUILDING ACTIVITY

For me, in Vocabulary-building activity random grouping will be

applicable. In which they can able to share their ideas despite of their

differences. They can able to build and enhance their knowledge in

vocabulary as they can share and collaborate with each other.
