DEFINING QUESTION:

Question:

1. What are the things that can help plant grew faster and bigger?

2. Can plants that place outside the house grew faster and bigger?

3. Can plants that place inside the house grew faster and bigger?
FORMULATING HYPOTHESIS

1. If plants need water, air, sunlight, soil nutrients, and the correct

temperature coupled with affection and care are the most basic factors

to make a plant grow faster and bigger. Plants require nutrients from the

soil. The golden rule is that an excellent soil must provide all nutrients,

including organic matter, air, water, nitrogen, phosphorus, and

potassium. So, to improve your soil quality from better to best, you

should never forget to add these nutrients timely. Light is known as the

essential elixir of energy. Interestingly, this is one of the primary needs of

plants to make their food. However, insufficient light, whether natural or

artificial, can inhibit development by limiting photosynthesis, the process

of turning water and carbon dioxide into the sugars and carbohydrates

required for growth. We know plants are sensitive beings like us. They

also respond to temperature fluctuations by showing various signs

physically. As they get a more favorable temperature, new leaves, new

stems, more fruit or flowers, and even depth in the colors and textures

become evident. During cold weather, home gardeners often cover them

with blankets to avoid frost or relocate them altogether from the outdoors

during intense heat. Water, just like sunlight, is another primary need to

prepare food through photosynthesis. Deep down in the soil, water

delivers nutrients up via the root system. It carries nutrients from roots to
the top, much like what blood does in the human body. However,

gardeners often water their plants either excessively or just too little,

disrupting the supply of nutrients and damaging them.

2. If outdoor plants prefer being in the sunlight. They can be kept in

direct sunlight, which allows outdoor plants to grow more quickly and

produce more beautiful flower blooms as a result. The more sunshine a

plant absorbs, the more flowers and fruits it grows.

3. If in the wild, plants are stuck with whatever is around. But humans

can move plants indoors and change how much sunlight, carbon dioxide,

and water the plants get. In your home, plants may not grow as fast as

they do outside because there is less sunlight.

Designing an Experiment

In experimenting this problem. I need to place the same plants

both outside and inside the house. For one week, I need to observe the

developments and changes of both plants. Through this kind of

experiment I can conclude which plant can grow faster and bigger.
DATA GATHERING AND ORGANIZING RESULT

Obtaining a healthy plant does not guarantee that it will thrive.

They need more attention to continue to grow healthily. Plants will grow

well over time with the right guidance & adequate care. The amount of

time it takes for a plant to mature depends on the type of plant and the

environment it is kept in. For healthy growth, various plants need

different care. Outdoor and indoor plants have distinct needs and

demand different maintenance; thus, their requirements also change. For

plants to get the nutrients they need sunlight, which is essential. Thus,

with the aid of sunshine, plants create their own nutrients, aiding in a

speedier rate of plant growth. Both indoor and outdoor plants will require

different amounts of sunshine.

Indoor Plants: Although some sunshine is still required, indoor plants

may grow in low light situations. Keep your plants next to a window so

they may absorb indirect light for optimum development. Giving plants

morning sunlight will ensure they remain healthy even in low light. Try to

shift your plants out twice a week. Plants can however suffer burns if you

shift them directly from full shade to direct afternoon sun.

Outdoor plants prefer being in the sunlight. They can be kept in direct

sunlight, which allows outdoor plants to grow more quickly and produce

more beautiful flower blooms as a result. The more sunshine a plant

absorbs, the more flowers and fruits it grows. Low levels of sunshine can

stunt growth, resulting in fewer blooms from the plants.

Making Conclusion

Therefore, I conclude that by experimenting this matter.

Observing these two plants that place in different places. Plants that I

placed inside the house grow slower and smaller because of the low

levels of sunshine can stunt growth, resulting in fewer blooms from the

plants. Plants that I placed outside grow faster and bigger because of

the direct sunlight, which allows these plants to grow more quickly and

produce more beautiful flower blooms as a result.
