area of Bkk that has been open for about 30 years. The covid-19
pandemic has caused you a lot of troubles from the government
policies and now it’s time to think about business recovery and
you’re thinking about planning for 5 years ahead:
● Think about strategic direction using The Ansoff Matrix. Which way
will you choose between market penetration, market development,
product development and diversification, and explain the reasons
for your alternative.
● After that, give some examples of solid action for your strategic
direction

Ans: From the strategic direction of The Ansoff Matrix, I choose Product
development. According to the question, we are the owner of a
well-established fun park but were affected by covid 19. I can ensure
that our reputation might vastly decrease and customers will forget how
the best fun park 30 years ago been. Therefore, As an owner, I will
renovate and add some products that can bring our reputation back and
attract more customers again. So my plan, Regarding our reputation, we
still have the fan base to be an infrastructure, all we need to do is
renovate and add a water park next to the fun park. It might waste a lot
of money but this counted as The first fun park that has a water park
inside. This can attract the customer and not just the old customer but
also new customers as well. Customers have to decide what they want
to play or play them both, As an owner, I will also set the price fairly for
our customers, both Thai native and foreign. including promotion such as
“come 5 pay 3 for people who want to play both parks.
