Conflict Identification
A group of young people may be observed in the marketplace playing rugby, sniffing solvents,
smoking cigarettes, and consuming alcohol. Also, they tend to trash the stalls of some vendors
and arrogantly challenge some young groups to a fight. Their "tambayan" is the market, where
they may entice additional kids to join their gang. Moreover, some men woo women, which may
result in early pregnancy. The possibility that Barangay Maligalig youngsters may be recruited
and become recalcitrant has been unsettling.
Plan of Action
Barangay Maligalig must establish recreational activities and persuade the local youth to engage
in the events they will hold actively. These young people's relationships with one another will be
improved through forming rapport and friendship inside their selves. If this occurs, they will
understand how to care for one another and take responsibility for being a brother's keeper.
Reflection
The barangay council must ensure that the young people in their community aren't actively
participating in activities that might endanger them. For them to truly serve as a source of
inspiration and hope for others, they must begin by exercising extreme caution with their
activities immediately. Youth also have a responsibility to contribute to improving the quality of
life on this planet. Producing productive citizens who will undoubtedly be highly advantageous to
both ourselves and the nation is something we must assist with.
