REPORT ON SWACHH BHARAT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”
It is the mantra of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation. He demonstrated, propagated, and
insisted on individual and community cleanliness throughout his life. Following his footprints,
the Swachh Bharat Mission campaign was launched on October 2nd, 2014 by the Government
of India. This campaign has achieved encouraging results to date with people from all over the
country participating in it.
On March 01th, 2023, with the help of the institution Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike
(BBMP), we went to create awareness about the Swachh Bharat Mission initiated by the
Government of India.. We were accompanied by the BBMP workers who work day and night
to keep our city clean. Our main objective was to aware people of using the right-coloured
dustbin for different types of garbage which results in easy recycling of items and correct
disposal of non-recyclable garbage.
CONCLUSION:
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign
initiated by the Government of India. It is the responsibility of all the citizens of
the country to keep their surroundings clean. In this activity, community people
were encouraged to maintain the cleanliness of their surroundings. Below we
