After reviewing the works of Saunders by number of intellectuals and researchers, I have come to
better understanding to move forward with the work that I have chosen for the research. There are
no less works successful in various areas; researchers have directly attacked on the specific themes
which Saunders has clearly depicted in the story like, dystopia, postmodern working class, class
conflicts, near-future, etc. Few have cleverly focused on internal causes that affects human which
is probably exhibited in almost all his collections.
As a reader and a researcher, observing today’s condition of the society, I have adapted the works
of Saunders and envisioned in a different angle, through which I would not only explore the causes
of such outlandish mechanism but also anticipate its consequences and examine the social
behaviour of an individual in social situation. I would like to be the pioneer of this proposed work;
this will be possible through the thorough study of social psychology, which explains numerous
reasons and miscellaneous perspectives.

Scope of this research

[WORD LIMIT 200-300]

[SAMPLE]
The theory of social psychology, where psychologists invest all their efforts in fetching causes and
solutions to those mechanisms, would be a great aid to the society. Through this research, likewise
analysing the dreadful consequences of human behaviour and stipulating answers to the problems
by examining the theory, social psychology with its internal sub-topics in detail, which would
definitely be beneficial for the unforeseen repercussion. The significance of this research is to
create awareness in the society and soon proliferate all over human beings about their social
behaviour, which is an utmost necessity in an individual today. This probably will be the most
relevant research for the social being according to the present scenario.

This research study has compiled the theoretical inputs together with the legitimate secondary data
regarding the consequences of human social psychology and their erratic behaviour. The present
research proposal will use the methodology of analysing the texts of George Saunders, through the
thorough study of social psychology theory and works of its theorists, like; Kurt Lewin, Leon
Festinger, and Fritz Heider. To enhance the work it will be more helpful referring the related works
of other authors, for the efficient cognizance. It will be more beneficial to visit certain reputed
libraries of India to collect data, and also collection of sufficient research papers and thesis from
the scholarly journals, regarding the topic, in order to refer them for the better idea and ample
knowledge of the work. Therefore, the entire work will be followed under the guidance of MLA
Handbook Eight Edition.
