APPRECIATION
I appreciate you for your love, prayers,
encouragement and support through this
journey of faith to share the gospel with the
unreached in Mali. God has been good and
He is faithful in doing what He Promised. I
appreciate the role you are playing in
fulfilling this great task, all thanks to God,
my family, my director, my mentors and
you.
LANGUAGE LEARNING
I thank God thus far for helping me in
learning the Bambara language, there is
much improvement and I can make little
sentences in the Bambara language. All
thanks to my language teacher Baba
Danfaga for his kindness, wisdom and
patience in teaching me. Along side I am
beginning to pick little words from the
hansaniya language which is close to Arabic
and has some similarities with Hausa
language that I already know.
MISSION ACTIVITIES
We continued making friends among the
Moore's, visiting two villages in the past
months, getting to know and understanding
their perspectives about life, friendship and
communal living, our man of peace Sufi is
playing a great role in helping us learn from
their culture, the reception in Charrack village
is overwhelming and we have opportunity to
interact with the chief of the village, and he is
Charrack is still ongoing, the sharing of the
Hansanniya Audio bible continued within last
months, we were able to share some with
them. They are always willing to get it so they
listen to it in their heart language. We pray that
this will sow the seed of the gospel in their
heart and give them questions to ask that will
bring them to salvation in Christ.
MISSION IN KAYES
Glory to God for how he is using me here in
Kayes, thank God for my involvement in the
church, for more than a month I have been
involved in teaching the adult Sunday school
class, involving with the youths and the
fellowship have been prolific within the past
months. My involvement with the Hausa
speaking migrants have been wonderful.
During the months in view, when I went to have
some bible reading with Malam AA (name
changed) as usual he said that yesterday night
they discuss with his wife and they are making
the decision to disciples of Christ, he said it
with all excitement and willingness to follow
his conviction but on saying that his daughter
Lady B (name changed) who have gone to the
church with us for more than a month now
started crying.
She is 14 years and have shown great interest
in coming to church but when the father made
the pronouncement that he wants to accept
Jesus as his lord and savior the girl started
crying and that scared them and said before
they make the confession they will want to
have time with their daughter to know why she
is crying excessively. So he said if they talk
then he can continue with the declaration of
faith.
Lady B shows more interest and zeal she is
always looking up to sundays so she can go to
church, always planning for the next Sunday
service, after discussion with them they said
their daughter in Niger republic heard about it
and was not ok with it and she even fell sick,
saying if the parents become Christians she will
not have anyone to marry her in their village
because it is an abormination for them. This
call for prayer for Mallam AA, that God will
settle his mind and God will talk to him and give
him the peace for him to continue in his new
conviction. He has two children here and two
in Niger. His wife and children here are
interested in becoming Christians but with an
exception of his son who has never been to a
mosque or church, he never fasted and have
never done sallah. Keep praying for his son, he
is 17 years old.
USING MY SKILLS
I wish to use my skill of film making and
photography as a tool to share the gospel
with Kayes community and the plans are as
follows;
1. Have a photo studio
2. On a quarterly bases train and
disciple youths in photography and
cinematography (seeking to
collaborate with some church youths
but yet open to other unreached
people in other to have the avenue
of sharing Christ with them.
3. From time to time engage in shooting
short local moral and biblical stories
with the community youths.
4. The studio will serve as a common
ground for our meetings and
Christian ethics will be strictly
adhered to, either you are a
Christian or other religion provided

Kayes community have less people
engaging in these, so by training youths,
this might serve as a source of livelihood
to some and to me serve as an avenue to
share the gospel of Jesus among them.
Conclusion
Thank God for his work in my life, personally I
am learning a lot and growing daily in Christ,
God is revealing himself to me in different
dimensions, it is my prayer that this task of
reaching the unreached will be fulfilled in my
life in Jesus name.
