With the evidences presented, it is now clear that the access and use of laboratory

apparatuses will improve the academic performance of students. A theory by John

Dewey in an article by Lorina (2022) states that people learn better through
‘hands-on’ approach. His theory postulates that students or people learn and
improve through the result of their experiences and first-hand interconnection with
the world. Learners gain new concepts, insights, and comprehension of the subject
as a result of encounters.

As stated by Lorina (2022) When children express ideas and meanings in groups, they
have the opportunity to analyze, adopt, and work with the perspectives, ideas, and
experiences of other students.

There is a growing interest in implementing reform-based lab courses in

undergraduate physics that are driven by students rather than instructors.(May et
al. 2022)

In situations like experimentations, students are actively engaged in the learning

process when they participate in hands-on activities involving laboratory
equipments. This can improves their concentration and overall understanding of the
subject and through hands-on activities, students can visualize and experience
concepts and ideas. Students will be able to gain a better understanding of how
things work.
