EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Cakesis is a new company that is trying to gain recognition in order to improve its sales
performance. Facebook is one of the main platforms used by Cakesis to connect and attract
customers to buy the food products produced by their business. Every information about sales
products will be communicated through the platform.

This nature of business is known as the food industry or more precisely dessert. This
dessert is known as kek batik. We chose the food industry because nowadays food products
are easier to sell. It is because people do not mind spending their money on food especially
dessert. To make our business transactions easier, we decided to sell our products online. In
this way, Cakesis products will grow far.

This business was established in November 2022. At the moment, Cakesis only has
two employees, which is the owner of Cakesis, Ain Naziera binti Hamid and the assistant, Nur
Najibah binti Hamdan.

Cakesis currently produces kek batik with various toppings such as Cadbury, Nutella,
and Oreo. it has also received a lot of good feedback from every customer who bought it
because of the crunchy but soft texture of the kek batik. The ingredients used to make kek
batik are also premium and very high quality.

A popular Malaysian treat is batik cake. Layering a chocolate cake with


a creamy and sweet filling comprised of condensed milk, butter, and milo
results in this dessert. It is famous for its decadent creamy texture and rich
chocolate taste. We also offer a variety of toppings, including Oreo, Cadbury,
and Nutella. Customers who do not want any toppings can still obtain a regular
batik cake without any toppings. SQ250 is the size of the container utilised. The
cost is moderate and economical.

4.0 CONCLUSIONS

In a nutshell, Cakesis is a new business that mostly markets its kek batik products
through online platforms such as Facebook. This platform is very helpful in the growth of our
product, namely by posting regularly and also taking advantage of existing services such as
advertising. With this platform, we can reach the target audience that we have set. It has also
helped us in increasing the sales profit of Cakesis business.

In addition, we have also gained a lot of knowledge and skills from this online platform,
such as the appropriate times to post on the Facebook page and also how to write sentences
for hard sell and soft sell posts. It really helps us to make good posts in the future. Besides,
we were also able to learn how to calculate profits and set appropriate prices for the food
products produced by Cakesis.

Finally, we are happy and enjoy selling kek batik to our customers. Thank you for the
ENT530 course for giving us the opportunity to do sales, especially Madam Hartini binti
Mohamed.
