Freedom is an important part of human life, and article 19 guarantees the same. These are the benefits
that we receive for being in a social contract with a state because of us. But we must not limit the rights
of other citizens in order to enjoy our rights and thus our own freedoms are subject to being constrained
under Article 19 itself because the state recognizes that if an operational society is to be established,
human rights need to be regulated. Our freedom of expression is important, but sometimes it can be
damaging.

Many who support the restricted freedom of speech do not dispute its advantages of allowing people to
express their opinions, but what they want is to protect all those rights, such as the right to life, privacy,
and protection of a person who has been mostly abused, specifically the hate speech or comments
made to avenge others, due to excessive power of speech.
