a. Competitive Analysis
Due to the current huge demand of foods, many food stands, small food businesses,
street food vendors and carinderias are established.
In the case of the business, there are many competitors surrounding the target market
including the school canteen, street food vendors beside the school, and carinderias. Even our
classmates are also one of the competitors, including the WowFull, Flip N’ Fluffy,
Turontastic, Scramble Overload, Sweet Delight, Churrolicious and the Saucy Dog. These
businesses promote their products through direct selling to customers and through posting
online. The products that the business sells are also available to other businesses such as the
shake which is offered by the canteen, and the bread rolls that the street vendor sell beside the
campus.
Although the business is not much common in selling specific products, it was still
challenging for it to sell goods with the same purpose and the same target market. Street
foods vendors beside the school are very efficient today in terms of demand and in attracting
customer that the business considers them as one of the strong competitors in the present.
