Lorreto is a small city in the north of the country on the coast.
It’s quite small, but the population increases in the summer
when people come to stay here for their holidays because it
has a long sandy beach. Because it is in the north of the
country it gets quite cold in the winter and sometimes it snows.
It gets very hot in the summer and people go to the beach.
The city is beautiful and there is a historic part which has
ancient monuments. There is also a modern part which has a
shopping centre.
The interesting things to see in the city include a museum and
an art gallery and the old part of the city with the historic
monuments. There is also a sports centre and an open air
swimming pool for the summer. There are also several large
parks.
There are some nice restaurants which are very busy at the
weekends. The best restaurants and cafés are in the port area
and there is a lively restaurant which is popular with young
people in the main square in the centre of the city.

I can see shops and cafes and the people may be shopping or
perhaps it is their lunch break from work. There's no traffic but
it's still very busy. It looks like a fun place to live. Perhaps it is
expensive because it is a big city.
The other photo looks like a small village, perhaps in the
mountains. It looks very cold and very quiet – there are roads
but they're covered in snow. The houses are made of stone
and they look very sweet and quite old. I can't see any shops,
but perhaps there are small local shops like a bakery or a
grocery store. There aren’t any cars but I can see someone
walking down the hill to the river. They're wearing very warm
clothes, and it looks difficult to walk through the snow.
It looks like a calm place to live and I think that the people
there have a healthy lifestyle.
