Samsung's $450 Galaxy A54 5G Is

Here to Challenge the Pixel 6A


Samsung's latest sub-$500 phone launches on April 6.

Samsung has announced the release of the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone,


which will be available for pre-order on March 30 and will launch on April 6
for $450. It is the latest addition to Samsung's middle-tier smartphone
lineup, and it competes with Google's Pixel 6A, which is also priced at
$450. The Galaxy A54 5G has a 6.4-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive
refresh rate, a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 32-megapixel front
camera. It also has a 5,000-mAh battery, 128GB of storage, and runs on an
Exynos 1380 processor. The phone is expected to have improved nighttime
photography compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A53 5G. Samsung's
A-series devices have built a significant following and two of its A-series
devices, the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A03, were among the top-selling
phones in 2022, according to Counterpoint Research.
