1962 Randy goes to work at Grampa’s grocery store on Saturday mornings for $0.25 per
hour from 8 to 12. That earns enough to go to the movie matinee (25 cents) and buy
popcorn, candy and coke (25 cents) with 50 cents left over for the week! Saturday
morning was the busiest time of the week as many of the families that lived outside of
town came in to do their shopping then.

while in Wichita Falls. planning to go to work for Urgent care center (Americare) before
opening BVD decides Patty can’t work there so R quits and P&R go to mexico before he starts
work at Westgate ED. Goes to work at Westgate and opens practice on Londonderry Lane in
Denton.

1986 March P&R move to 2040 West Oak with DBMZ and go to Maui, Sands of Kahana.
Went to the top of Haleakala and saw Haley’s Comet. David tried to marry girl making
hammocks and then hook up with a guy driving the tour bus.

1994 P$R, and Jimmy and Karen fly to Seattle June 24 red eye arrive at 355am. Drive to
Anacortes, Sail with Barbara and Bud Graser on “Catnip” a Gemini 32 catamaran in
the San Juan Islands into Canada. Sailing June 25 to July 5. Spent the night of the 5th in
Seattle in great hotel near the fish market

1995 Jan 9-17, P&R to sailing in BVI. Catalina 36, “Laughing Gull”, Sun Yacht Charters out
of Nanny Cay. Double anchor for storm. Anchor at haul over bay on Cooper Island,
(almost hit a rock!, thanks Patty)
Get all wet. Go to BEYC and spend the night. Great wood in room. Go to the Public hospital.
$25 to visit the ED!! and get medicine.
March 14-19 Trip to Telluride, Co. Spent night in Gallup, NM on the way driving. On
the way stayed at Tucumcari. P&R, Kristina and Nick, David, Brendan, Pam, WeBu,
Michael, Patty Wilsey and Phillip Stayed at the Viking condos at the base of the
mountain and walked to the Lift. Phillip thrown out of snowboard school for letting his
board fly down the mountain, yikes.
Built addition for K and N bedrooms and put in the pool. Patty graduates from TWU
with English degree. P hyst.

Patty and Randy Family and Karen and Jimmy Family drive to Park City to stay
in a rental home and ski and visit Stephanie and Brian. Steph finds out she is
pregnant during the trip. Lots of carsick on the way home. Kristina brought
Friend and they got in trouble for MJ. House at 811 Silver Sage. Patty Flew to
Salt Lake. Over Spring Break. Stopped at Arches park on the way home

1998 May 13-20 P&R go to Maui, KBH. Pam called to tell us she was pregnant with
India. Shaureece? Trilogy first trip for us.

March 13-19 Taos Vacation Rentals Didn’t ski there since they didn’t do
snowboards. Las Milpas condos. Went to Angel Fire to ski. Icy!
March 28-30P&R Emergency Conference in Las Vegas. Mandalay Bay Hotel.
Didn’t understand what to do in Vegas, not a great trip.

Patty goes to work at Calhoun Middle School as the school nurse.

2000 Jamie and Candace Wedding in Honolulu

May 31 David, Jenn, Michael, Shaureece, Tashina, Nick drive to LA, stay in
cheap hotel, BOMB SCARE in the middle of the night! Fly June 2 LA to
Honolulu.
June 1 Patty, Randy, Brendan, Pam, Zooey, Webu, and India Fly to Honolulu.
June 5 All fly to Kapalua small airport on West Maui (only time ever!)
Stayed at Kaanapali Beach Hotel.
June 12 All fly home to LA or Dallas except Shaureece who stays over till the 22nd.
July 11-15, P&R go to Las Vegas for ER conference for hospital, See Blue Man Group,
Cirque du Solis. Smoky Robinso, and Sigfried and Roy. Stay at Caesars Palace. Great Trip.

2001 P&R go to Belize. Chaa Creek (giant bugs in the room!) and Robert’s Grove.
Feb. 19 - 22 P&R and K&J go to Puerto Vallarta, La Jolla at the site of a movie, Night of
the Iguana.
2002 March 17-22 Ski Breckenridge, Co. Villa Del Sole. Drove through Kansas!
P&R, D&J, B&P, M&S, I&Z, Webu and Nick, Zooey, Malcolm. WeBu got
altitude sick but perked up when the babysitter AMY showed up.
July 6-13 Flew to Ft. Lauderdale to board the Nekton Pilot, a large multi deck
catamaran for a dive trip in the Bahamas. Great Trip, 5 dives daily for a week.
Night dives. George, Ken Deeb, and Craig Copeland(my dive instructor). Guy
 from Las Alamos got the bends and had to be evacuated by the Coast Guard to a
hyperbaric chamber.

2005 12 March to 20 March, Sailing on Moorings 4500, in Belize, P&R, D&J,
M&S&A,B&P&I&Z, Zooey, WeBu. Alana threw up and then said yes to eating Cheetos!
WeBu bouncing on the tramp in the waves. Found hidden treasure on Laughing Bird Cay.
Brendan got out of the water because he was peeing blood. Sleeping nurse shark.
D&J slept on the boat with P&R one night. Spent the night at Queen’s Cay and flying fish hit
the boat and knocked itself out, then woke up.

2008 Trip to Florida Keys, Hurricane Stayed at Key Sailing club. Patty calls it Sanford

2009 1/17/2009-1/24/2009 blues Cruise. Patty and Randy go to San Diego and get on Holland
America ship Oosterdam for a week with David’s Band, McClinton group.
3/13 – 3/17 Disneyworld including India
Nov 22-29, Thanksgiving in Belize at Robert’s Grove with Kat Ralph and our
whole family, Moorings 4000 sailing, Went to Laughing Bird Cay and got prop
tangled in loose rope where a mooring had been. Michael provided the sharp
knife and Brendon dove to cut it loose.
2010 End of 2010 Completed Addition of garage and Family Kitchen
Went Skiing Dec 26 to Telluride. House on the hill. Too high. Altitude
sickness and gas went out!! PRDJBPWMIZMSAKOOKKN, Zooey went to Denver
flying and couldn’t get to us but we were able to get nutritional yeast from Amazon?!?.
Kat went. Randy broke a rib. It was record cold and the gas failed from the cold and
excess demand so we had some cold times in the house.
Sailing trip to BVI.
2011 June Family trip to the BVI Visited Tortola British Virgin Islands, Bitter End Yacht
Club, Sidney's Peace and Love - Jost Van Dyke, BVI and Megans Bay, St
Thomas, Us Virgin Islands, 1 week in the BVI and then 1 week in house on
Megans Bay. Returned boat to Road Town and missed the last ferry and had to
charter a night boat to return to St Thomas. ADVENTURE. Electricity always
going out on St. Thomas house, Generator iffy.
November Thanksgiving in Belize with the family. Robert’s Grove.
2012 2/17/12 – 2/21/12 Disneyworld Webu too.
Earth Day 4/22 Balloon Launch in St. Joe and video and still photos from near space.
Found cameras near lake Lewisville.
June 5-11 P&R go to Maui. Stay at Kaanapali Beach Hotel.
Oct 9-Oct 13 P&R to BVI. Salty Candy. Had a brush with a Hurricane that fell
 called us back to base and spent the night on the boat in a Tropical Storm environment
with heavy rain and wind but slept like a baby. Spent 2 days in Lanester bay on the south
side of St. John with no one else in the anchorage. Lovely and quiet.

2013 Feb. 3-10 P&R go to BVI on Salty Candy.

March 9, P&R go to Maui. AA has mechanical problem before departure and we miss
the connection at Honolulu and wind up spending the night in the Waikiki Beach
Marriott. (Not Great) then go on to have a great time at Kanapali Beach Hotel. Then
joined India, Brendan, Pam, Zella, Zooey, Webu, Alana, Kristina, Michael, Nick,
Shaureece, Orion, Megan, Kasper, kaine, Olivia. Went on the Trilogy, met the crew and
they held India up for a picture! Went on the bike tour down the volcano. Patty and I
saw Bonnie Raitt
June 29-July 5 Randy, Michael and Brendan plan BVI sailing. M&B go early get boat
and set sail. Randy to join but flight cancelled and never makes it there.

2014
April 18-21 Patty, Randy, India, Zella and Alana go to Disney World
spring break
Oct 11 Webu and Megan get Married. Officiated by R. Back yard at P&R house.
Overhead lights. Music by David’s band, Baby Atlas. One neighbor complained about
the noise, from Scripture street? Went great. Dancing and celebrating.
Nov 22-29 Akumal, Patty, Randy, Jenn, Brendan, Pam, India Zella, WeBu, Megan,
Michael, Shaureece, Alana, Zooey, Kristina, Josh, Orion, Olivia, Kasper, Kaine, Nick
Houses rented on Yal-ku lagoon and chefs! Swam with turtles!! Went through a cave
system in the jungle. Bought a rompe cabeza.

2015 New Year’s in the BVI. Dec 29-Jan 5 2 boats.

Pax Asher and Nova Faye Findley Carroll born August 9, Premies straight to NICU for 2
weeks. Megan had back labor and didn’t realize she was in it.
Sep 1 - Emerus Sells! DBMZKN FLP is born.
Sep P&R go sailing in a deserted BVI during hurricaine season, don’t even get off the
boat for 6 days.
Nov 22-28 Thanksgiving – Belizean Dreams at Hopkins, Belize for 7 days, Whole
family! POTHOLES. Cave tubing, ziplining. Caitlin McGowan goes for first family
vaca. P&R leave early to care for Mijo.
Dec 7-14 P&R go to Italy with Karen and Jimmy and stay at a country house that they
were taking care of in Montese in Tuscany. Went to Florence and saw great art including
David with a great guide Susanna. Great food. Cold room with bugs in a woodfire
warmed house. Walked a lot. Randy picked up the wrong suitcase in Rome airport and
had to go back to exchange for his.
2016 New Year’s in the BVI
Dec 28-Jan 4 BVI 2 444 sailboats, P&R, BPIZ, MSA, Zooey and Caitlin (first sailing
trip), and Nick, India wins the limbo contest at Myetts again!
P&R go to Hawaii
Feb 24-March 4 – stay at Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea got upgraded to villa 13, 2
bedrooms, kitchen on the beach lawn, watched whales, talked and loved the air and
sounds. Loved it!
March 25-27 PRBPZWMPNMSA went to Austin and saw Baby Atlas at Rattle Inn and
went zip lining!
May 26-28 In San Antonio for ATLS, just P&R, whew. Last time?

May 17-20 P&R to San Francisco to stay at the 4 Seasons. Went to hear John Pryne in
concert and loved it.

June 22-29 BVI 2 4800’s Sailing trip PR, Z, Caitlin, IZA, MS,BP, N, Kelsey,WM and
Pax and Nova. Got the new boat, Neverland. Said goodbye to Salty Candy. Went to Fat
Virgin Café and loved it. Went to the anchorage for the Soggy Dollar bar (White Bay)
for the first time. Went to Sandy Cay for the first time. Saw our new boat being
unloaded from the freighter.

October 23-29 Hawaii at the Fairmont again for P&R. Quiet time with beautiful weather

and sights. No new activities. Crosswords and books and being together.

Nov 19-26 Whole family except Malcolm, and Michael Ray Martin, Kristina’s husband
went to Costa Rica. Stayed at Private villas, Villa Paraiso and Villa Mariposa in Ocotal,
in the Guanacosta area. Went Zip Lining, river rafting, rock climbing, horseback riding,
Boat nature tour, surfing ate vegan the whole time at the villa thanks to Chema, Demaris,
Julia and Oscar. Played darts. Enjoyed the horizon pool and talked till our tongues were
tired. Also experienced Hurricane Otto, the latest carribbean hurricane since records
were kept and the only one in history to make landfall in Costa Rica. Climate change?

Sep 7 Hurricane Irma destroy BVI including our boat, Neverland.Took until October 30
to find out about the boat for sure due to Hurricane Maria which brushed the islands in late Sep.
Gave up our Thanksgiving trip to donate to Sydney’s recovery. Communicated with Janet
Hendricks sister to Strawberry and Rona.
 Oct 15, Family Reunion for Patty’s family great turnout and great weather in spite of
threatening weather the night before.

Oct 21, Engagement party at P&R house, Nick and Kelsey got engaged. Had party at
our house

Dec 28 to Jan3 Family trip to Hawaii, Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach, all family except D&J
and Malcolm. Stayed at the Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach. Day on the Trilogy, Biking down
Haleakala, Scuba at McKenna Park (turtles and shark and scooters), Whale watch. Lunch at
Mala (very good), Food at Thai Chef good as well. India Express at the Wharf was good as well.
Pax and Nova loved the Aquarium. India got sick. Zooey and Zella got the flu just after getting
home! Great post cards from everyone for Thank You Notes!! Monk seal on the beach at the
hotel.

2018
Committed to redoing the Jagoe House. Setting it up as a home for WeBu’s family and an
apartment. Stay at the Shangri-La hotel. Versalle castle, Lourve, Giverney garden, Roen, Rodan
museum. Crepes! Walking! Thai food! PRKJ

Aug 29-Sep12 PARIS Anniversary meal on the terrace outside our room overlooking the Eiffel
Tower.

Nov 27-Dec 7 BVI with PRBPMS and Z for 5 days. Sailed on brand new Moorings 5000 with a
WATERMAKER! And it sailed great. So great we went to St. Croix and went to the US VI
checked in with the new app. Loved the new boat and the company.

Dec 29 Going to St. Maarten.Sailed from St Martin to BVI overnight. Stars amazing. Really
Dark. PRBPMSINA aboard. Stayed in a house on the beach on St martin for a week but with
the Christmas winds the beach was quite rough so not in the water much. Whole fam went and
the nonsailors went home after a week and the others sailed to the BVI.
2019 October 13-19 Sailing BVI PRBPS and Z joined for the last 3 days. Michael stayed for
school!

After Christmas the entire family went skiing to Steamboat springs. Cold! Crowded airport.
Great rooms overlooking the run down to the base. Great meals in the rooms. New years snow
parade of lights. Orion killed the boarding. David was ill for a couple of days. No altitude
issues.

2020 COVID!!!!!! COVID in the spring. House isolation for months starting in March. Then
family dinners outside at the property in the summer progressing to masks and gloves service in
the family kitchen with eating outside. Finally got gowns to we could hug again. LWC closes
for months at a time. Foxes has COVID. Caretakers Haliegh get it and stay to care for the
cients. Malcolm comes through it okay.

2021 May India Graduates from UT!

June 8-15 Patty and Randy sail in the BVI! LOTS of hoops to jump through due to covid entry
restrictions into the BVI and back into the USVI. Masks on the planes and in the airports.
Required vaccinations. No restaurants some food delivery to the boat! Ate outside at Sidney’s.

2022 May Zella and Alana Graduate college!

David, Brendan and Pam get Omicron and David and Bren are sick for a week. Very flu-ish.
Maybe some long covid symptoms. Brendans first negative test is the day before we go on the
sailing trip.

July 6-13 Sailing trip. Patty, Randy, India, Zella, Reggie on Neverland and Brendan Pam,
Michael and Shaureece on another boat.7 days. Took water taxi from St Thomas. Alana missed
because she was in France!

Aug-Sep Patty and Randy to Maui Fairmont for 7 days. Stuck fo 2 more days due to flight
problems with the brakes on the plane, then stole a plane?

Sep Alana starts UT law in Austin. India starts UNT Law in Dallas!

Sep 26 Oryn Kai Findley-Carroll is born. Megan in labor but unsure. Is an 8 when we leave
Denton for McKinney birthing center. Randy and Megan ride in the back of the van with WeBu
Driving. She is in active labor and threatening to deliver, exciting! Arrive at the center at 1050,
Oryn is born at 11:49. Patty, Pam, Pax and Nova arrive at 11:10. Erin and Peter at 11:30. Quiet
dim lighting in the center. Nova decides she will adopt a baby! Everyone is home in denton by
430. Wow!
