My Qualifications
I received my Masters in Counseling from Wake Forest University with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health
Counseling in May of 2023. I also have a BA in Communication from Wake Forest University with minors in
Spanish and Health & Human Services. I have focused my experience on career counseling, having completed
both my Practicum and Internship at Wake Forest’s nationally recognized Office of Personal and Career
Development. I received extensive training in career coaching/counseling during the 2018-2019 school year and
have since built on this knowledge as a Graduate Career Educator and Career Counseling Intern for the last two
years. Prior to beginning my graduate degree in counseling, I worked in marketing research consulting for two
years, gaining extensive knowledge about

Restricted Licensure
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolin. As I provide career counseling services, I
am under the supervision of Heidi Robinson (NCC, robinshj@wfu.edu), Dr. Jacqueline Friedman (Licensed
Psychologist, friedmjn@wfu.edu), and Dr. Erin Binkley (LCMHC, NCC, binkleee@wfu.edu).

Counseling Background
I work with college students from all backgrounds who are engaging in career exploration, preparation, and
transitions, and am excited to be with you on this journey. I believe we all have unique gifts that can be used in
this world and seek to help individuals find meaning in their personal and professional lives. I use an integrative
combination of evidence-based counseling approaches to help students, choosing theories, techniques, and
assessments that I believe will best help the individual with their unique circumstances and goals. I use a strength-
based approach and draw from person centered, solution-focused, existential, career construction, and social
learning career theories, keeping the unique individual and their goals at the forefront of our work together. I hope
to help students cultivate personal and professional meaning, and better understand their strengths, values, and
skills to become career and life ready.

Session Fees and Length of Service

Given that services are provided in a University setting, there will be no fees for sessions.

Use of Diagnosis
You will not be diagnosed in this session.

Private Resource
All of our communication becomes part of the clinical record, which is accessible to you upon request. I will
keep private anything you say as part of our counseling relationship, with the following exceptions: (a) you direct
me in writing to disclose information to someone else, (b) it is determined you are a danger to yourself or others
(c) you disclose knowledge of child or elder abuse, (d) I am ordered by a court to disclose information, or (e) you
disclose something that would be helpful for another campus staff/faculty member to know with regard to your
academics. I will ask permission and obtain consent prior to sharing any information in our conversations.

Complaints
Although clients are encouraged to discuss any concerns with me, you may file a complaint against me with my
supervisors, Heidi Robinson (robinshj@wfu.edu), Dr. Jacqueline Friedman (friedmjn@wfu.edu) or Dr. Erin
Binkley (binkleee@wfu.edu) should you feel I am in violation of any of these codes of ethics. You may also file a
complaint with the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors at 336-217-6007. I abide
