Nurses promote healthy lifestyles, advocate for patients and provide
health education. They also provide direct patient care. As key
members of healthcare teams, they provide our communities with the
knowledge needed for healthy living.

Retention rates for nursing have drastically increased over the years. Ever since
COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States. the healthcare field in itself has
declined. This is because of numerous reasons. Some of those reasons being
because of the mandated covid vaccination that was forced into policy for
those in the healthcare field and also the long, hard hours that were put on
nurses for being understaffed. All while this was going on, the pay was not
increasing. Although certain areas and certain places were offering bonuses
and pay raise for floating to different areas, it was deemed unfair to those who

had been putting in long hard hours where they had been for years. This has
put a big decrease within healthcare and has caused many places to suffer.

This is an original book written by Florence Nightingale herself. She is the British Nurse who is regarded as the modern founder of nursing. This book also gives
a lot of insight on 12 different nursing theorists. Florence is the nurse who worked during the war and saved many lives. It is very interesting to read what she
experienced.

Education in Nursing is very important. You are expected to finish a certain amount of clinical hours during each semester which will provide you with
education on skills performed in healthcare by the nurse. As humans we typically look at reviews before we buy, or before we visit a place. This article gives
many examples and details on how students felt during their clinical hours whilst studying their nursing career.
