Jessica: "Hey Lucas, are you a football fan?

"
Lucas: "Absolutely. I love football. Are you a fan too?"
Jessica: "Yeah, I am. Who's your favorite team?"
Lucas: "I'm a big fan of Barcelona. What about you?"
Jessica: "I like Manchester United. They've had some ups and downs recently, but I think they have a
really strong team this year."
Lucas: "Yeah, they do have some good players. What do you think about Ronaldo going back to
Manchester United?"
Jessica: "I'm really excited about it. He's such a talented player, and I think he'll bring a lot of energy
to the team."
Lucas: "Definitely. And what about Messi going to PSG? Do you think he'll do well there?"
Jessica: "I think he will. He's such a gifted player, and PSG has a lot of other talented players as well. I
think they have a good chance of winning the Champions League this year."
Lucas: "That would be pretty impressive. Do you usually watch the Champions League?"
Jessica: "Yeah, I try to watch as many matches as I can. It's such an exciting tournament with so many
talented teams."
Lucas: "What do you think about the Premier League this year? Do you think Man United has a shot
at winning the title?"
Jessica: "I think they do. They've made some really good signings and they have a strong squad. But
they'll need to stay consistent and avoid injuries if they want to win the title."
Lucas: "That's true. And what do you think about the upcoming World Cup?"
Jessica: "I'm really looking forward to it. The last World Cup was so exciting, and I think this one will
be even better with all the talented teams that are competing."
Lucas: "Yeah, it's going to be really interesting to see which teams come out on top. Who do you
think will win?"
Jessica: "I'm rooting for Brazil. They always have such a strong team with so much talent."
Lucas: "That's a solid choice. I think I'll be rooting for Argentina. Messi deserves a World Cup title."
Jessica: "That's true. Either way, it's going to be a really exciting tournament and I can't wait.

Mike: "Hey John, did you catch the game last night?"
John: "No, I missed it. What happened?"
Mike: "It was a really close match! My team, Liverpool, was playing against Tottenham. We ended up
winning 2-1."
John: "That sounds like a good match. Who scored for Liverpool?"
Mike: "Mane and Firmino. They both played really well."
John: "Did you watch any other matches over the weekend?"
Mike: "Yeah, I watched the Manchester City versus Arsenal match. It wasn't as close, Manchester City
won 5-0."
John: "Wow, that's a pretty big win. Did any particular player stand out to you?"
Mike: "Definitely. De Bruyne had an exceptional game, he scored two goals and was involved in a lot
of the attacking play."
John: "He's a really good player. What do you think about Ronaldo's first match back at Manchester
United?"
Mike: "It was awesome! He scored two goals and set up the third one. You could tell the fans were
really excited to have him back."
John: "Yeah, I saw some of the highlights. It looked like he hadn't missed a beat."
Mike: "Definitely not. He's still one of the best players in the world, even at his age."
John: "And what do you think about the upcoming international matches?"
Mike: "I'm really looking forward to the World Cup qualifiers. My country, England, is expected to do
well. And I'm also curious to see how teams like Brazil and France perform."
John: "Yeah, it's going to be really interesting. Do you think there are any dark horse teams that
could surprise everyone?"
Mike: "I think Belgium is always a strong team that doesn't get enough credit. And I've also heard
good things about the Netherlands."
John: "Those are good picks. It's going to be an exciting year for football."
Mike: "Definitely. I already have my calendar marked for the big matches."
